FEATURING RUSSIAN RIVER BREWING COMPANY

Make it a pint night

The Brew Bus is our custom-tapped, vintage 1965 red VW van, parked just outside and pouring a rotating selection of five beers from the iconic Russian River Brewing Company,  offering everything from crisp lagers to bold IPAs, plus Lost Coast Brewery Root Beer on tap.

With a new release from Russian River Brewing Company featured every Wednesday, the Brew Bus is Yountville’s newest, casual spot to enjoy a pint.

What’s on tap at The Brew Bus

  • A bottle of pliny the elder beer on a white background.

    Pliny the Elder

    RUSSIAN RIVER BREWING COMPANY

Pliny the Elder was a Roman naturalist, scholar, historian, and author. In his writings, he refers to Lupus Salictarius, meaning “wolf among scrubs,” likely an early reference to hop vines growing wild among willows. Pliny the Elder died in 79 A.D. while saving people during the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius. He was immortalized by his nephew and adopted son, Pliny the Younger. Pliny the Elder, the beer, is a full-bodied, hop-forward Double IPA with an intense character.

  • A bottle of damnation beer on a white background.

BEER OF THE WEEK - DAMNATION

    RUSSIAN RIVER BREWING COMPANY

The first in Russian River Brewing Company’s long lineup of Belgian-inspired beers, is a medium-bodied golden ale. It is fermented with a Belgian yeast strain that imparts notes of fruit and spice. Damnation is refermented and has very fine carbonation. It should be poured slowly.

  • A bottle of happy hops beer on a white background.

    HAPPY HOPS IPA

    RUSSIAN RIVER BREWING COMPANY

Happy Hops was originally brewed in 1944 by the Grace Brothers Brewery in Santa Rosa. Russian River Brewing Company pays homage to the Grace family—whose brewery closed in the 1960s—by reviving “Happy,” the charming hop character featured on the label. Happy Hops is an IPA brewed with both new and old-world hop varieties, offering bold aromas and flavors with notes of tropical and stone fruits.

  • A can of velvet glow beer on a white background.

    Velvet Glow

    RUSSIAN RIVER BREWING COMPANY

Velvet Glow is an homage to a historical beer brewed by the Grace Brothers Brewery in Santa Rosa. The Grace Brothers Brewery operated from 1933 to 1966 and produced many iconic brands, including Velvet Glow and Happy Hops. This Helles-style lager is clean, crisp, and refreshing, with a bright straw color and aromas and flavors of bread crust and biscuit. Bitterness is very low, accompanied by a mild hop aroma.

  • A can of sts pils beer on a white background.

    STS PILS

    RUSSIAN RIVER BREWING COMPANY

STS Pils is a classic German-style pilsner with a distinct Russian River twist—it is dry-hopped with a small amount of European hops. Straw in color, this beer often has a slight haze due to residual yeast. It is hop-forward with a firm malt foundation, strong lager yeast character, and a dry, bitter finish. A truly great pilsner is difficult to perfect, as its light, crisp flavor profile leaves little room for error. Modern brewing techniques, such as open-top fermentation, combined with old-world traditions, create the distinct qualities found in STS Pils.

  • A bottle of root beer on a white background.

    LOST COAST BREWERY

Lost Coast Brewery Root Beer is a handcrafted, old-fashioned root beer made with care in small batches by the iconic Lost Coast Brewery. Rich and creamy with a smooth finish, this non-alcoholic beverage is perfect for younger guests—or those young at heart.
